The Isolated Series was created during the Covid-19 period as an exploration of how isolation manifests through different emotional and psychological states. This portrait explores the act of code-switching - the performance of identity across different spaces. By wearing social masks to fit in, the subject begins to lose touch with their true self, revealing another form of isolation beneath the surface.
