Sci-Fi Futures

This series was created as part of my university coursework in Computational Art, exploring the use of AI as a tool for visual experimentation. Produced through Google Colab using collated libraries and AI image-generation workflows, the project focused on testing how prompts, datasets, and computational processes could be used to generate atmosphere, concept imagery, and imagined environments.

The work reflects my interest in science fiction, especially the scale, mystery, and isolation often found in futuristic or otherworldly settings. Across the series, I experimented with vast desert planets, glowing horizons, strange rock formations, distant structures, and cinematic lighting to create scenes that feel unfamiliar, immersive, and open-ended.

Rather than treating AI as a replacement for design, this project became a way to quickly explore visual directions and understand how emerging tools can support creative development. It helped me think more about world-building, mood, composition, and the role of technology within an experimental art practice.
